Arowhon Pines is a small, rustic 50-room summer resort located in the heart of Algonquin Park, a huge
nature and wildlife preserve. We are located 8 km off Highway 60 on the shore of our own lake, Little Joe
Lake. Guests from all over the world gather here to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Canadian north
woods.

The tranquillity of Arowhon Pines' natural setting amidst lakes, rivers and forests filled with wildlife - myriad
of birds, moose, deer, fox - seeps into your soul. We combine this spectacular peaceful location with a
renowned kitchen, warm hospitality and attentive service - your assurance of this is the fact that 60 per
cent of our guests return year after year.
Arowhon Pines has been family owned and operated for 67 years.

(as attested to by many media articles and reviews!)

PLUS....
Enjoy the nature programs and facilities that Algonquin Park offers.
Arowhon Pines is proud to offer guests food that is typically Canadian. Using fresh seasonal ingredients, our expert chefs
prepare rich healthy dishes influenced by the many nationalities that have made Canada their home.

We serve three meals per day. The variety is inviting and the quality such that guests are tempted to try everything - they
are free to do so.
Coffee and muffins for early risers, afternoon tea and scones, hearty
picnic lunches, impromptu luncheon barbecues by the lake and
weekend buffet lunches are all part of the Arowhon Pines dining
experience.

Dominating the grounds is our famous heritage dining room, "a six
sided teepee of hand-hewn logs, its cavernous size accentuated by
wrap-around views of lake and forest" (The Globe & Mail). The walls
inside are made of pine logs and a towering stone fireplace rises to
the centre of its cathedral ceiling.

Bring your own wine - we'll uncork it for you - our meals deserve it!
The dining room is open to the public - reservations are
recommended. Dress is casual.

Please notify us in advance of your dietary restrictions or allergies,
including vegetarians and vegans.
Arowhon Pines has fifty distinctive
bedrooms spread among 13 cabins along
the lake shore.

Our rustic log cabins range in size from
three, four, eight and twelve bedrooms.
All bedrooms, furnished with antique pine
furniture, have ensuite bathrooms with
robes and electric heat.

Each shared cabin has a central shared
lounge with comfortable chairs and
couches around a wood burning fireplace.

Our one and two bedroom suites, each in
their own building, have a lounge, stone
fireplace and private deck - the ultimate
